HEIC to JPG/PNG/WebP

Convert HEIC/HEIF images to JPG, PNG or WebP directly in the browser without server upload.

About this tool

HEIC (High Efficiency Image Container) is a photo format developed by Apple and used as the default format on iPhones since iOS 11 (2017). HEIC files are about 50% smaller than JPG at the same visual quality thanks to the HEVC compression algorithm. The problem appears when sharing them: Windows, older Android versions, and most web applications do not support HEIC. The HEIC converter turns HEIC or HEIF files into universally compatible JPG, PNG, or WebP directly in the browser. You choose the output format and compression quality. All processing happens locally - photos are not sent to a server and nobody else can access them.

How to use

  1. 1Click Select HEIC/HEIF file or drag a file from your iPhone Photos library.
  2. 2Choose the output format: JPG for maximum compatibility, PNG for lossless quality, WebP for the modern web.
  3. 3Set the output quality (80-90% is recommended for JPG and WebP) - PNG ignores this setting.
  4. 4Click Convert - the conversion runs instantly in the browser.
  5. 5Compare the original and converted previews, then download the result.
