Image Compressor

Compress images (JPG, PNG, WebP) for web without visible quality loss. Free online tool - your files never leave your device.

About this tool

Large images slow down website loading - every extra second of delay reduces conversion rate by about 7% (Akamai study). Google PageSpeed and Core Web Vitals penalize pages with uncompressed images. Photos from modern smartphones are typically 3-10 MB, while a web-friendly target is usually under 200 KB. Image compression reduces file size by removing unnecessary data or slightly lowering quality in a way the human eye usually does not notice. The tool processes up to 20 images at once (JPG, PNG, WebP), shows the savings in MB and percent for each file, and packs the results into a ZIP archive. All processing happens in the browser - photos are not sent to the server.

How to use

  1. 1Drag images (JPG, PNG, WebP) into the tool or click to select them - max 20 files at once.
  2. 2Set the compression level: 70-85 is optimal for the web, a higher value means better quality but a larger file.
  3. 3Click Compress - all files are processed at once in the browser.
  4. 4Review the results - the table shows the original size, new size, and percentage saved for each file.
  5. 5Download the files individually or as a ZIP archive using Download all as ZIP.
